Hi All,

This years main fundraising initiative has commenced this week. This year our overall target is high as we have a very large purchase on the horizon- a new boat…hurray!!

Request: I ask that each member take a ticket book and sell those 5 tickets to support this initiative. If you think you can sell more than 5, I can supply more tickets 🙂

  • 1 ticket book = 5 tickets @ 20€ each. I will be handing these out on the slip (if I didn’t catch you in Bray)

Attached you will find a poster for the St. Michael Fundraising raffle which contains all the relevant details for those buying tickets. (If using this please cover my name & contact details with your own)
Over 3,000€ worth of prizes to be won!.
Draw: August 25th at the annual family challenge BBQ (more details on that at a later date) and all winners will be notified. BUT please try to sell the tickets, deposit the money and get the stubs back to us as quickly as possible.
Deadline for return all stubs, money and unsold tickets before August 15th so that we can take stock of where we are but please it would be appreciated if this was done sooner rather than later.

Process for return of money and ticket stubs (please follow):

  • All monies should be transferred to the club account with a clear narrative linked to the ticket numbers –

suggested example: monies received = 100€ with narrative “AI tix 5-10”  (AI are my rowing initials and my 100€ is for the sale of tix 5-10)
SC: 90-11-16
BIC: BOFIIE2D
IBAN: IE40 BOFI 90111648306279

  • Each ticket stub MUST BE RETURNED AS THIS WILL GO INTO THE DRUM
  • Not possible via bank transfer? No problem,  just return money with the stubs and unsold tickets to the people listed below
  • Ticket stubs received back but no money (or we cannot identify the money)? Where it is not clear that we have received money, these ticket stubs will not be entered in the draw (so make sure you know who gave you money!).
  • Your ticket book numbers will be registered on our tracking spreadsheet with your name. (this is used to track the returned tickets and reconcile against receipt of money.
  • Each book = €100 for the club and each stub could be a prize valued over €100 for whoever bought it, so please treat them like money and ensure their safe return.
  • Unsold tickets? Return as soon as you know you have reached your limit so that we can redistribute and register them to someone else.

Thank you for sticking through the details above but they are important and thank you very much for your support and participation.
All that left now is to give all your contacts the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes!!

Please return stubs, money (if not transferred) and unused tickets to the below people:

  • Jane Collins (086) 826 8213
  • Jack Hedigan (086) 124 2714
