Home Regatta Review. Skerries Regatta next

Howdy Rowers,

Well, what can I say, I hope you all thoroughly enjoyed our Regatta on Sunday. I know its been said already, but I would personally like to thank every single club member who was down that day. Everybody had a part to play which made the day run very smoothly indeed. It was also great to see may new faces getting involved.

Next up on the card is The Skerries Regatta (On Saturday) see race order and crew listings below. We’re missing a lot of people due to other commitments that day so bodies are stretched so please be on time for your race if not there the whole day to help your club at the event.

We’ve had a few internal enquiries from members about trying to get their friends down for a row. So far we’ve only had one open day in April and that took in a record amount. Now our regatta is over and our novices from April know the score, we will be holding another open day on the 3rd of July from 6.30pm. So if you know people who are interested in rowing bring them along on the night.

A big shout out also to Aisling Lahiffe for organising the bag packing weekend prior to our regatta. The club raised a whopping €1005 which will assist us in purchasing a new boat.

As ever please click on this link to enter your training availability for the following week. Can I ask you all to widen your availability from 1 particular slot in an evening. Last week we had a massive interest in the 6.15 slots which are at a premium as the youth crews have two boats during that particular session leaving only 3 in circulation for the adults crews. https://www.dunlaoghairerowing. com/members-area/availability/ weekly-availability/
