Howdy Rowers,
As the weather still stifles, and is set to potentially stretch for the most part of July, we get a break in our regatta schedule this weekend. This means you can actually enjoy the weather without a boat….But don’t worry its only one weekend!
Open day
Last Tuesday we welcomed 30 beginners on the slip with 17 being interested in exploring the sport further. Thank you for all your help on the day. They will be squeezed into the schedule next week and thrown into the two whats app groups, so please be nice…I know its hard for a bunch rabid sea dogs life yourselves.
Oars
As you may have noticed, we are currently in the midst of an oar drought. The committee has recognised this and is trying to remedy the situation. We are looking at dramatically reshaping existing oars that are difficult and also looking to expedite the purchase of oars which has been delayed for sometime due to our suppliers’ business!

Training
Just to say I need coxes to step up in training next week with the influx of noobs.
Money for You, Money for St Michael’s!!!!!!
With utility rates on the increase, it may be time to change providers. I takes 5 minutes and costs you nothing. Just log onto switcher.ie  and you could find yourself a couple of hundred yo yo’s richer by just changing provider. (Switcher does all the work finding the best value for you!)
Even better, Eoin will donate the switcher.ie commission they earn from your switch to st. Michael’s. Just email the confirmation letter you receive after you change provider to Eoin Clarke –  eoinclarke@switcher.ie and he will empty his corporate pockets and fill ours!! #moneyforU&moneyforMichaels
Regards,
Dave
